Guys Trip CT 2026

Why this trip

Three men. Three cities. One weekend. The hangouts stopped coming. The calendar got soft. That ends now.

There is no agenda. There is no plan. There is a house, a hot tub, and two casinos sitting right up the road — waiting. We roll in, we crack the first cold one, and we do what we came to do. Foxwoods calls? We answer. The lanes want a piece of us? Come with us if you want to live. But the mission is simple: get in one room and catch up like we used to. No clocks. No mercy.

The crew

• Alex — inbound from DC. He said he'd be back. He meant it.
• Kevin — rolling up from RI. Cannot be reasoned with, cannot be stopped — until the beers are open.
• Andy — incoming from NY. We said get your ass to Connecticut. He was already in the car.

The mission

• Fri Sept 18: Roll into the house after dark. Drop the bags. Fire up the hot tub. Crack the first round. Phase one — complete.
• Sat Sept 19: We hit Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun — chips, lanes, whatever moves. Slow morning, late lunch, then we ride it out. Stick around.
• Sun Sept 20: Lazy breakfast. Then — hasta la vista. Until the next one.

What it's not

This is not a blowout. This is not a bachelor party. This is not a schedule-every-minute operation. It's beers, laughs, and a reunion that's been on hold way too long. Anybody tells you different — they're lying. Now stop reading. Get to the casino. Do it. Do it now!

How we're picking the place

Nine homes in the casino corridor — all near Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun — are in the pool. The Vote tab is where the crew weighs in: you favorite the ones you'd be happy with, and we go with whatever has the most love by mid-July.

What we filtered on

• 3+ real beds — non-negotiable. Each guy gets his own actual bed (no sharing queens, no pullouts). 3 separate bedrooms is a plus but not required.
• Pool or hot tub — eight of the nine have one (seven hot tubs, two pools, one place with both). The ninth is a waterfront house with a foosball/pool game room + firepit — the fun-house wildcard.
• Near the casinos + bowling — the entire pool sits 5–20 min from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun (Norwich, Montville, North Stonington, New London), so Saturday's a short drive either way.
• Sept 18–20 confirmed available — all 8 show open dates as of search.
• ~$217–$658 / night — splits to $145–$438/guy. Cheapest end leaves plenty for chips and bars; even the splurge lands under the budget cap.

Nice-to-haves (not required)

• Game room / pool table / something to do at the house
• Fireplace
• Extra bedrooms so nobody's on a couch

Goal: lock the property by mid-July 2026 so we have time to grab anything else (lane reservations, dinner spots, etc.).
